Aitutaki as a kiting location has to be one of the best in the world, and so close to NZ! I went for the beginners package and with Jimmy, Mike and Andrew, and went from 0 to being independent and able to go back and forth in the lagoon in 4 days. The location they have is suberb, with crystal clear blue shallow water, and the wind was great every day. Aitutaki is an awesome location, with good value accomodation as well as top end stuff. You must check it out!

Had a wicked time hanging with Jimmy and Mike at the Kite Centre, its a great set up. Chilling in a hammock listning to tunes or ripping the pants off one of the sickest spots in the south pacific its up to you, theres no rush to set up and get a kite because you have all day and the next day and the next. Flat warm water knee to waist deep for about a square km with soft sand under foot and stedy trade winds await you all you have to do is hook up with boys and they will sort you out. Thanks allot guys , had a sick time. see you next year for sure !

when the trades are blowing you can pretty much sail 24 hrs a day. aitutaki is BETTER THAN THE PHOTOS. azure blue and young turtles scuttling out of your way. The perfect place to learn. Warm, shallow and heaps of kiwis flying around. We had wind ranging from 12knts - 30 knts . Andrew and Jimmy are out to convert everyone to kiting . There is a lot more to Aitutaki than kiting...if you can find the time away from your kite !Thanks guys

Crazy fun...awesome spot and nice center. Took my first lessons here and loved it, Jimmy is very patient and a great instructor. There is no doubt this will be an in spot in the kite boarding world in short order. I hear Cindy Mosey is bringing 24 kiteboarding girls to the Aitutaki lagoon in Sept of 09... must be here for that :-)

I had a great time learning to Kite board with these guy's, a beautiful Island paradise, that seems to be perfect for their purpose. The shallow and warm water was ideal for spending hours in, learning to fly the kite's, they also have great gear available to learn with and use. Was a fun place to hang out on the beach between sessions with the kite's, if you are thinking about giving kite boarding ago you couldn't pick a better set up and place to learn.

i can't say enough about the operation these guys are running. in four days i went from never having flown a kite to being able to get about the lagoon and make my way upwind. the tuition was laid back but professional. the location is so stunning its just a great environment to learn in and have fun. i definitely was not ready to come home. if you go i recommend about three weeks to really make the most of your time on this amazing island. i think the boys have done an inspired job of setting up a kite centre on what is quite a remote tropical island. a stellar experience all round. as the first ever graduate from their centre i am hoping for a free t shirt.
