Why Aitutaki?
Staff
Michael is a long time resident of Aitutaki and is a partner in the South Pacific Kiteboarding centre. He is an IKO level 1 instructor and has a wealth of local Aitutaki knowledge. He can point you in the right direction for any other interests on the lagoon.
Michael has undertaken the daunting task of starting ACT (Aitutaki Conservation Trust) in an attempt to help promote and educate visitors and locals of the need for environmental protection of the Aitutaki Lagoon and this amazing ecosystem.
Michael always has a smile on and enjoys meeting new people and sharing his passion for the environment.

Andrew Strawson comes from Wanaka, NZ. He's been kitesurfing for ten years and first discovered the Aitutaki lagoon four years ago. Its the best kiteboarding he's seen so he kept coming back for more and jumped at the chance to build a center as well as instruct in Aitutaki. Andrew reckons Aitutaki is the shit.
Andrew is an IKO certified instructor. His passion for the sport is contagious.
Andrew
Jimmy Rimmer has been kitesurfing since May 2002 and is a Level 2 IKO instructor. He runs a kiteboarding school in New Zealand and has instructed in Europe and the South Pacific.
Jimmy is thankful for every day he is given and gets a buzz out of helping people learn how to kiteboard.
Like all addicted kiters jimmy likes to dream about Kiting. In fact he did so much dreaming he ended up in his dream! AITUTAKI!
